Bir Billing is considered as the second-best paragliding destination in the whole world and the best in India and is this point is enough for you to understand the popularity of this place. Not Indian but also foreign pilots visit which also increases the popularity of this place. In October 2015 the Paragliding World cup was hosted there and in this world cup pilots of 135 countries had participated.
There are few points which you need to know about Bir Billing, like Bir Billing are two different places. Bir is located at 1350 m from sea level and it is paragliding landing area. Billing is situated at 2430 m above sea level and this place is the paragliding take-off point. The total distance between the two places is 16 km. For paragliding, everyone has to drive to Billing for one hour in the hilly mountain road. In Bir Billing, the best time for paragliding is October to November and March to June. The fly time here will be around 10 to 20 minutes.

Paragliding in Sikkim:
In the eastern part of India, paragliding in Sikkim is one of the famous sports activity. When you do paragliding here you will get the view of Himalayan ranges and snow-capped mountain peak. The view of this place will attract you a lot.
In this paragliding spot, there is two option one is for short distance paragliding and another one is long distance paragliding.
