After the easing of the COVID-19 induced restrictions by the government, Himachal Pradesh has started seeing an influx of tourists as well as celebrities.
A few days back Bollywood actor Anupam Kher along with his mother visited the state capital Shimla, now former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has also reached Shimla with his family for an advertisement shoot for five days.
It is reported that MS Dhoni is staying at a homestay called White Haven in Mehli near Kasumpti. This is Dhoni’s second visit to Shimla, after shooting for an ad film in August 2018.
Now RT-PCR Test Report is Not required to Visit Himachal:
In its latest guidelines regarding COVID-19, the Himachal Pradesh government has said that a negative RT-PCR test report is no longer required to enter the state.
The movement of tourists and celebrities has increased in Himachal Pradesh soon after the relaxation of the Covid-19 guidelines was announced.
The air quality in Shimla and adjoining areas has improved due to pleasant weather and monsoon rains.
Tourists in large numbers are flocking to Shimla to enjoy the season and to overcome the fatigue of the COVID-19 induced lockdown restrictions.
Himachal Police Requested Thala:
According to the latest reports, the state police of Himachal Pradesh is preparing to ask them to participate in the campaign against the menace of drugs. Police are preparing to ask the cricketer to make a video message, urging his fans not to fall prey to threats.
Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is joining Himachal Pradesh as a “state guest” but the government is not paying any money on him other than providing security, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said in the state assembly on Wednesday.
