Here you will find a temple of “Lord Hanuman”. As per the Indian mythology when Hanuman returning from the Himalayas after getting “Sanjivani Booti”, in the way his foot touched Kasauli hilltop and that the main reason why this place gets that name. And when you visit this temple you will find that there are lots of monkeys around this place. There is no entry fee and you can visit it from 9 am to 5 pm.

Christ Church:

If you thinking about which time is the best time for Kasauli tourism then it is very important for you to know that April to September is the best time to come and explore the beauty of this place. In the time of summer April to June the temperature ranges from 27 degree Celsius to 14 degree Celsius. In monsoon July to September, there will be a little bit rain but it will not stop your fun time here. The winter through October to March are extreme. At that time, the temperature ranges between 4 degree Celsius and 19 degree Celsius. So, you can imagine how cold it going to be. So you can avoid visiting that place at that time.

By Air: The closest airport to Kasauli is at Chandigarh known as Chandigarh International Airport which is at the distance of around 70 km. From outside of the airport you will find private taxis and buses available for Kasauli.

By Rail: Kalka Railway station is the nearest railway station which is at the distance of 25 km from Kasauli. You can easily get a taxi from the station to the desired destination.
